Search Engine Optimization

It is important to have your website free from HTML coding errors. While it is not required that your website be error-free, it is highly recommended so that search engines will have an easier time indexing your website.

The World Wide Web Consortium provides this service at http://validator.w3.org/. Just type in your website URL and test your website if you have one. Your website should be error free or nearly error free. This can help maintain your status rankings of Google, Yahoo, and MSN. In fact, every page should be checked and validated. If you have just a few errors, you should be fine. But if you have 10 or more errors, you should take the time to correct these errors.

Groomer Web Services checks every page of your website to make sure that it is error-free. While not all web pages can be error free, our goal is to make sure that you have less than 3 errors on a web page.

The other search engine technique that we use is the validation used by Domain Tools. Type in your website URL and click the Site Profile tab and check your profile score. We feel this score should be at least 80%. If not, you definitely need to perform some corrections to your website.

Search Engine Optimization can never be guaranteed. If your website is written well, it will be on the first couple of pages of the search engines. It will take several months to accomplish a rating but once the website is on-line for several months, you can take advantage of a great advertising tool for your business.
